Stairs LEVEL 1 – Don’t wander too much or you’ll be attacked by walking trees so move directly to 2 and enter the Portico. Fight some spiders then enter the tower. Step on the mosaic at 3, you’ll sustain some damage but you can get some information. Now use the nearby closet to rest, in this one you’ll encounter some warriors. Agree to help them then descend the stairs at A. LEVEL 0 – Clear the rooms from monsters then go to 6 to free Shal. Accept to help her and let her join your party. Be sure to keep Shal alive because you’ll need her later. Now return to the first level, rest if you need, then climb the stairs at B. LEVEL 2 – Nothing interesting here, just disband some monsters then climb the stairs at C. LEVEL 3 – You can meet a drow patrol at 7. It’ll not attack if you lie about Shal so continue your journey to D and climb the stairs. LEVEL 4 – As for level 2 eliminate some monsters, rest if you need, then climb the stairs at E. LEVEL 5 – Nothing at all here, just climb the stairs at F. LEVEL 6 – Proceed into the room at 8 when you’re fully rested and sustain some damage to reach the treasure at 9. Get it and leave. Rest again in a closet then go to G and climb the stairs. LEVEL  7  –  Clean  the  big  room  from  monsters  then  reach  the  area  at  10.  Here  you’ll  hear enemies come from both sides. You can choose to fight them in two separate attacks or taunt them then duck in the closet to avoid the fight. Anyway, when you’ve finished enter the arch maze to the east. Ignore the Otyughs and climb up the stairs at H. LEVEL 8 – Now eliminate the Otyughs in front of you then enter the room at 9 to open the coffins and get the treasure. Enter the room in the north-west section of the map and choose to attack the large enemy force. After the battle you’ll find the Wizard Gate in front of you at I. When you cross the gate there’s no turning back so rest, heal and save before proceeding. LEVEL 9 – Ignore the Chess Room at 11 and go directly to the Skull Shrine at 12. Choose to “Cut Down” and you’ll immediately fight a group of assorted monsters. After the battle go back to the closet if you need rest otherwise climb the stairs at J. LEVEL 10 – Go to 13 and overhear a conversation then enter the room, clean it from monsters, and approach the room at 14. Choose “Yes” and type the password (“RED”). After the scene retrieve the treasure. Now rest in the nearby closet and proceed all the way west. There are a lot of rooms filled with monsters. Kill them all for some useful experience then enter the corner room. After another fight pick up some other treasure at 9 before climbing up the stairs at L. LEVEL  11  –  Clean  the  room  at  5  from  monsters  then  rest  in  a  closet.  Now  enter  the  three Manufactories of Moander and eliminate their occupants. After the battle rest, heal, approach the  room  at  16  and  save.  Cast  all  your  defensive  spells  and  enter,  you  must  now  fight  four separate battles. The first one is against some undeads but if you use your Cleric’s “Turn” you’ll end this fight quickly. The second one is against assorted monsters, mainly minions of Bane so use a couple of “Delayed Blast Fireballs” to get rid of them. The third one is against an assorted band of humans, nothing difficult. Heal before ending this combat. The last one is against three minions of Bane, two black mages and Marcus himself in a split attack. Concentrate your melee power on the mage first because it’s very powerful and let your mages cast “Fireball” based spells on the others. After the battle get the treasure and enter the secret corridor to the north. Rest, heal and resurrect Shal if she’s dead. Now cross the secret passage to the east and enter the Temple of Transformation in the north-east corner. Approach the Vessel of Moander at 17 and jump into it to reach the Limbo.
