STEADING AT DRAGON’S HORN GAP 1.     Door to Leave the Gap 2.     Hill Giants 3.     Pitched Battle 4.     “The Twisted Horn” Inn 5.     Training Hall 6.     Giants Meeting 7.     Monsters 8.     Store 9.     Fire Knife Commander 10.  Kardal’s Dagger 11.  Kardal 12.  Giants 13.  Dragons’ Horde 14.  Hill Giant Shaman 15.  Treasure Vault 16.  Door to the Fire Giants Cave Enter  the  Steading  at  12.  It  is  now  controlled  by  giants  so  be  careful  when  dealing  with  them because  as  soon  as  you  enter  the  building  you’re  greeted  by  one  of  them.  Choose  “Talk”  and proceed  north  at  2.  This  time  you’ve  to  fight  them.  It’s  a  split  attack  but  it  poses  no  threat.  Go further north to 3 and watch the battle in progress. Choose “Wait” for fighting only the winners. Enter the inn at 4 where you’ll meet Kardal. After his speech rest and heal then enter the room at 6 to fight a band of cloud giants. With this you’ll earn the respect of the hill giants. Rest again if you need it and leave the inn. Go to 5 if you need training or to 8 if you need a shop. Now it’s time to make some experience so clean  all  the  ten  rooms  to  the  south.  (Note  that you can rest in each room that you clean). Now approach the fire knives quarters situated near the shop and make your way for the commander at 9. Eliminate him and his forces to obtain some useful information. Rest and cross the door situated north of the location at 3. From now on there is only one place where you can freely rest so be careful. The path is almost straightforward so go to 10 and retrieve Kardal’s dagger then save and enter the room at 11. Fight an assorted band of monster to release Kardal and, after the fight, proceed to the room at 12. There are some giants here but if you choose “Challenge their Attitude” you can avoid the  fight  and  go  on  to  13.  This  room  is  optional  but  there  is  a  lot  of  treasure  if  you’re  able  to dispatch the dragons. Continue your journey across two other rooms with monsters and save before entering the room at 14.  Enter  and  fight  the  Hill  Giant  Shaman  and  his  forces. Before the beginning of the battle the shaman will cast a spell to reduce your party HP by 1/3 but you can’t prevent it. By the way the battle is quite simple if you use some “Delayed Blast Fireballs” to quickly eliminate the mages and then use your fighters to finish the job. After the battle enter the treasure vault at 15 to retrieve some weapons along with a copper key and a book. Rest, heal and save then cross the door at 16 to enter the Fire Giants Cave.
