0.60 [Pekka Salmia and Brian Troha]
0.59 [R. Belmont, Olivier Galibert, ElSemi]
SETUP:
- The first time you run the game, the EEPROM N2 shows as BAD in the
RAM/ROM Check. Hold down the Test switch F2 and then also hit F3 to
reset the machine, creating the EEPROM for you.
Bugs:
- During the Attract mode right after when the metroids hits the
ground, in this version, it's missing the BASE/LAND (this is when the
mountain is going up in smoke). In the previous versions (59/60/76)
it's there (see pictures). Updated by Robiza: The bug is present in
0.70u2 version and not present in 0.70u1 version. In the source there's
this remark in VIDEO_UPDATE(moo). // Enabling alpha improves fog and
fading in Moo but causes other things to disappear. // There is
probably a control bit somewhere to turn off alpha blending. Thenasty /
Robiza (ID 00755)
