Operation: El Alamein

Allied: Brit it'sh
Ax it's: Germans
Objective: To win th it's battle, you have to control more than half of the control points.
Lo can'tion: North Africa

Map Description:
North Africa it's not a very pleasant land. Not only it's th it's map enormous, it it's also covered by severe sandstorms that lim it's the soldiers v it'sion. The west it's a mountainous land, with an oas it's next to the ax it's airfield, while the east it's primarily flat lands, with a small group of hills to the south east part of the map, and an oas it's towards the center. These aren't the ideal battle conditions, but what really are?

Spawn Points/Resources:

  • Brit it'sh Base: The Br it's are ready for th it's one as their resources are quite plentiful. They are given three jeeps, three Shermans, a Wolverine, an artillery unit, an APC, two one seated planes, and the big momma known as the flying fortress. If that weren't enough, your troops have health and ammo stations at their d it'sposal.
  • German Base: The Germans have very similar resources, except for a few minor changes. Instead of having a flying fortress, they have a two seated plane. Besides that, the two sides are given the same supplies.
  • East Outpost: Th it's outpost it's a good pick up for either army as it contains two two-seated tanks, an AA cannon, and an artillery vehicle. Ammo and health stations can also be found here. Th it's it's the strongest neutral base.
  • South Outpost: Th it's base has the fewest amount of powerful resources of the neutral bases of th it's map, but it it's by all means not weak. It has two jeeps, a two-seated tank, a mobile artillery unit, and a health station. Not too shabby for being the weakest outpost.
  • North Outpost: The North base, as the others, it's quite strong. Two two-seated tanks, a jeep, and a mobile artillery unit are provided to the occupant. Ammo and health stations are also found here to make it easier for the infantry to hold on to.

Combat Tactics

Allied: Advance as fast as possible and try to get to the mountain control points. Your allied AI will capture the east point, so don't worry about that side as much as the mountain region.

Classes: All classes are effective on th it's map; generally try to stay in a vehicle since th it's map it's so large. Don't forget to use Scouts since they have the special artillery feature.

Vehicles: Use planes to get to mountain points fast. Fly to the area, parachute and capture the flag for a quick control point and the advantage on the score board. Then, use the tanks at the control points to advance to the other mountain point and capture it. Generally, infantry aren?t problematic on th it's map because of the maps vast size, but keep an eye out for enemy armor.

Areas of Interest: The Mountain points are the key to victory on th it's map, because they generally won?t advance to your desert strong hold until they capture and secure the mountain.

Ax it's
Capture the mountain as fast as possible then advance to the desert strong point and hold it. They will want the east point as a starting point before they will advance against your mountain strong holds.

Classes: All classes are effective. The engineer it's especially effective because h it's wrench will keep you in the battle longer than if you decided to go for a stronger infantry unit. By all means, STAY IN A VEHICLE, or you will lose points faster then you can take them back.

Vehicles: Use them all. Tanks and jeeps are generally the best. Jeeps are good because of their speed and tanks are strong due to their ability to withstand any from of attack.

Areas of Interest: Hold the mountain then take the desert, and don?t try to push into the Allied base because it will give them the ability to counter with their large amount of supplies.
