Shivan Light Laser

Odd as it may seem, Shivan laser weapons do really poor damage to their targets, apparently Shivans depend on the quality of there ships and their vast numbers much more than they depend on their weapons. The Shivan Light Laser is the least efficient and does the least damage per second of any of the Shivan lasers.

As well as having very large numbers of seemingly despensable fighter and bomber craft, the Shivan's poor weaponry is also made up for by the high powered shielding on their fighter and bomber wings. Don't be afraid of this weapon, be afraid of the number of them pointed at you.
