BotMixer has a lot of settings and if you need to install MapMixer from scratch or copy your settings over to another machine, it is important to have a copy of all the settings.
It is recommended that you backup the BotMixer files on a regular basis, if for example, you perform a clean installation of UT2004 and suddenly find you've lost all your BotMixer settings.
BotMixer stores all it's settings in a number of different ini files (beginning with "BotMixer_") in the UT2004 System folder. Instead of storing every setting in just one file, the settings are divided up into groups and each group stored in a separate file. This allows you to quickly access a group's settings if you need to manually edit them or back them up, or copy to another machine without overwriting other settings.
Backing up your BotMixer settings is as easy as copying all the "*.ini" files beginning with "BotMixer_".
