Favourite Maps Configuration

This third page in the MapMixer Configuration is where you configure how Favourite Maps will work.  The feature is enabled on the Setup page.

Note that currently the Favourite Maps feature is not available when manually switching game types.

Favourite Maps Source

Source Type
Select either Single Map List or Game Type Map Lists.  In either case, the corresponding controls will appear.

Single Map List
Shows a drop-down list to select an existing Map List to be used as the source for the Favourites Maps List.

Game Type Map Lists
A list will appear, containing each game type installed and a corresponding map list associated with the game type.  Select the game type and you change the Map List Source with the drop down box that appears beneath the list.

Options

Shuffle Source Map List
This option will cause a Map List to be shuffled before it is used for Favourites for either of the Source Type modes.  If you don't shuffle the lists then the favourites will be chosen in the order they appear in the map list.

Replace Existing Map
When adding Favourites Map to a session list, the default behaviour is to insert the maps.  However, if you enable this option then each time a Favourite Map is added, it replaces an existing entry.  This may be useful if you wish to keep the same game type when game type switching is enabled.

Frequency
This parameter defines how often MapMixer adds a Favourite Map to the session map list.

• If the Replace Existing Map option is enabled and a value of 1 is selected then every map will be replaced with a favourite, whereas a value of 2 would mean every second map is replaced etc...
• If the Replace Existing Map option is disabled (meaning maps are inserted) then a frequency of 1 would mean that every second map is a favourite and a value of 2 would mean every 3rd map is a favourite etc...
