Mutator Lists Configuration

The sixth page of the MapMixer Configuration is where customised mutator lists are created.

On the left side of the page is a list that will contain all your customised lists, on the right is a list containing all the currently installed mutators.

Each Custom Mutator List consists of a separate mutator list for each game type.  So a Custom Mutator List might consist of a list for DeathMatch, Team DeathMatch, Capture The Flag etc...

The List of Mutators

In the standard UT mutators section you build a list by moving them from a list of available mutators to the current working list.  MapMixer does this in a slightly different way because it allows you to disable mutators as well as enable them.  To understand what this means you must understand the way MapMixer deals with adding mutators. See How MapMixer works with Mutators

Creating a List

Simply select a Game Type and enable the mutators you wish.  Do this for all Game Types, give the list a name and Save it.

If you want to set the state of a mutator for ALL game types then select the [Default Properties] item at the top of the Game Types List.  Game Type specified mutators have priority over the [Default Mutators].  So if you enable a mutator in the [Default Properties] and then set it to disabled in a particular game type, then it will be enabled for the other game types except that one.

Enabling and Disabling Mutators

The list of available mutators appears on the right side of the window.  This list will always appear full, unlike the original UT system where you move the mutators from the available list to the working list.  Instead, you can enable and disable the mutators by either double-clicking on them with the mouse or using the keyboard shortcuts listed below.  Double-clicking with the mouse will cycle through the states: Enabled, Disabled, Random and Ignore (nothing displayed).
