Fueldump spots

What follows is a guide to some interesting defensive spots for the Axis players on Fueldump. Most of these spots are known to experienced players, but none of these spots are entirely obvious.

#1. Machinegunner spot at first stage

  

This is a great spot for an Axis machinegunner. You get excellent cover on your left flank from the logs, and a great firing lane to the allied position near the tank. Tip: watch out for the "allies have constructed the footbridge" message - you could be in trouble.

#2. Defending from atop crate building

When the second hole has been blown in the Axis dump, a good place to defend the west side is on top of here:




To get up here, just jump up on the crates on the ride side of the picture and make your way up to the top of the crate building as shown below:

 

The trees in pic two provide visual cover against the tank MG; you can still be fired upon, but you are largely safe. From here you can also toss grenades into that little allied collection area just outside the wall, and below you. Allies will often collect here and not notice you at all.

Try and bounce to grenade off the side of the hill like I am here for best results.

#3. Defending from the wall

Once you get on top of the crate building you might want to try defending from on the wall itself. Be careful of the barbed wire, you can succesfuly avoid it with just a little care.

Check out these great site lines you have. Just go prone. Note: The Barbed wire does not interupt the path of bullets!

  

 


#4. Mug the engineers

This is a pretty cheeky spot to defend from. If you can get here with an MG before the allies build the command post, you can often score many kills. The two trees, the shrub, and the mound to your left, provide a lot of cover. Risky.

  

#5. Mug spot

Behind the tree on the left is where we want to be. This spot works best on servers where the allies can't spawn at the command post, or if the command post is not yet built. Look out for your own teams' arty strikes!
