virtualbox runs the GUI on the host.
Order of Network adapter preference:
  1. virtio (works for debian)
  2. Intel PRO/1000
  3. AMD PCNET Family PCIRequired by my existing XP vdi files. Not sure if a new XP install would need this, or could use on of the other two of XP is installed with them. Too lazy to try tracking down the other two drivers for my existing XP, so just sticking with this.
Windows guests require at least 14 MB of video RAM for seamless/RDP access (?)
Deb guests need /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules deleted every time their MAC changes (which will happen when the HD is attached to a new VM). This is already on my Deb vdi files in script /home/sean/post-clone-ethfix.sh
