Speed Monster Casting Cost: 100 to 900 After a while, you'll notice that you spend most of your time waiting for your monsters to do something. You may be waiting for your creatures to train to a certain level, research a given spell, manufacture a special trap, and so on. These things take time. You can slap some creatures to speed up their work, but that tends to make all but the most docile imp angry. Fortunately, there's a better way. You can use the Speed Monster spell to enable a creature to perform it's job faster. This spell, like many others, can be "powered up" by holding down the left mouse button when casting it on a creature. The cost of casting the spell increases, but the effect of the spell lasts longer. Note that some higher-level creatures, such as level-3 imps, have permanent speed already, so casting Speed Monster on them is kind of pointless. |
