| Find
Taurus. Try 87 south |

| Finding Taurus |
|
Your first task is to find Taurus, who has been
ambushed on Highway 87. Along the way,
you’ll run into two creepers. The first will
appear shortly after the mission begins. Kill him
before continuing; otherwise, you’ll have to
contend with him later. Pass him, slam the car in
reverse, and take him out with your linked
machine guns as he tries to follow. He’ll
fire some missiles your way, so prepare to dodge.
The second creeper will appear at the
intersection of 380 and 87, near the gas station.
Dispose of him, then head south on 87.
You’ll soon see a dirt path heading east.
Turn left along this road and you’ll find
Taurus’ Sovereign. |
| Kill any
creepers and get Taurus |

As you approach Taurus’ car,
another creeper will appear on the radar. The
large open spaces make this a perfect place to
try some sidearm shots. If you can get your car
parallel to his, you should be able to take him
out with your .45.
Once the third creeper is history, you’ll be
able to get Taurus out of his car. |

Skeeter at Fisher’s Field. And Hurry! |

| Bridge Out |
|
Shortly after you rescue Taurus, Skeeter will
tell you to meet him at Fisher’s Field. This
is a really hectic drive, and you have to make
good time.
Head south on 87 and turn right at Oil Rig Road,
the dirt path immediately south of the oil rig.
Remain cautious once you get up into the
mountains - you won’t survive a fall from
this height. Keep your car at a reasonable speed
(between 45 and 55 mph) through the turns, and
try to make up the time by speeding through the
straightaways. You’ll face a great deal of
opposition, but if you just keep moving, you
should make it to Fisher’s Field intact.
The one major stumbling block will come shortly
after you descend from the pass. You’ll see
a "Bridge Out" sign, but don’t
stop. As you break through the barriers, activate
your Nitrous Oxide and hang on. Once you reach
the other side of the chasm, you’ll meet up
with Skeeter. |

anybody that follows you |

| Once you reach Fisher’s
Field, the mission is a success. You don’t
need to engage anyone after rescuing Taurus.
Though this task appears on your notepad,
it’s extremely hard to get into combat along
the pass and still meet up with Skeeter before
the helicopters get to him. You might want to
take on a few creepers if you’re extremely
desperate for some salvage, but it isn’t
necessary. |
