Mission Four
Mission Objective: Am enemy convoy is headed to several defensive structures. Attempt to trap the convoy by destroying three bridges. Don't let the convoy escape the area.

Primary Objectives: Destroy facilities and bridge at Op. Able. Destroy central bridge at Op. Baker. Destroy towers and bridge at Op. Charlie. Destroy Ratache Osis.

Secondary Objective: Destroy Smoke Jaguar Forces.

Difficulty: Medium

Mech Recommendation: Heavy Mech with primarily long-range weaponry.

As the mission begins, you'll spot a Shadowcat Mech on a mountaintop. As you approach, the Shadowcat alerts fellow enemy forces to your presence and retreats back to the defensive emplacements. Approach Op. Able slowly - the area is crawling with enemy Mechs and long-range missile emplacements. Scan the available targets until you spot the emplacements; take them out with long-range lasers.

On your way to Op. Able, your fellow lancemates will probably destroy the bridge at Op. Baker. Continue slowly to Op. Able until you spot various Mechs powering up. Inside the Op. Able facilities you'll engage a Blackhawk, a Madcat, a Vulture and a Caldron-Born. These Mechs are equipped with various long-range PPC and missile weapons and will stay back. If you wish, order your lancemates to engage; in doing so, the enemy Mechs will be occupied as you snipe them with lasers from a distance. If your lancemates take heavy damage, order them to retreat (just order them to follow you) and resume the process. Use the MFB to repair and refit your Mech as well as your lancemates.

Destroy the bridges at each operation point to complete the mission.

Once all the Mechs and emplacements have been destroyed from Op. Able, take out the two facilities as well as the bridge. You'll spot the truck convoy in this area, more than likely. If it makes it out of the area (for instance, across the bridge before it's blown), don't let them get away.

Resume your course to Op. Charlie (or, if it hasn't been completed already, destroy the bridge at Op. Baker). On the way, a Thor Mech powers up driven by the commander Ratache Osis. In this area you should see a mountain dividing two paths, one to the left and one to the right. Order your lancemates to engage Ratache Osis and you'll see them take the left path. Instead of following them, take the right path. This path brings you to the other side of Op. Charlie and, thus, the other side of Ratache Osis.

In this area you'll spot the two laser towers mentioned in the mission briefing. Target and destroy the two towers and then, if he's still moving around, approach Ratache Osis from the rear (he should be heavily engaged with your three lancemates). Destroy Ratache Osis' Mech and the mission ends successfully.
