Mission Three
Mission Objective: Friendly forces need to advance to the northern position. Two facilities protect a bridge where you can expect heavier Mech resistance. Escort the MFB to the northern position.

Primary Objectives: Destroy west facilities at Op. Able. Destroy east facilities at Op. Baker. Escort Mobile Field Base to Op. Charlie.

Secondary Objective: Destroy Smoke Jaguar Forces.

Difficulty: Easy

Mech Recommendation: Standard

Once you move off your initial drop point, two APCs, two bulldogs and a Firefly Mech make their presence known. Use long-range weaponry and your zoom view to eliminate as much as possible from a distance, then approach and engage in close range. After making your way off the initial hill, a Strider should power up to the southeast. Again, take your time in eliminating this Mech; there's no rush and you can always return to your MFB for repair after the enemy forces are destroyed.

Approach Op. Able, which consists of the west facilities. Beware - hidden inside the facilities is a small missile platform. Scan through the available targets until you spot the platform inside the facility. Destroy the platform then, resume targeting structures inside the west facility. The best way to eliminate these structures is to use your zoom view on the building to target it; you'll notice that your targeting box covers the support columns of the particular building. These are the vulnerable points; point your weaponry at the targeted support column and destroy the buildings.

Position your zoom window on the support columns to destroy the buildings at Op. Able and Op. Baker.

Once all the buildings are destroyed (you'll hear that one primary objective has been completed), take out another small missile platform just north of Op. Able. About this time a Bushwacker Mech and several tanks appear on the radar, over the bridge in the Op. Baker, east facilities area. Cross the bridge and eliminate the Bushwacker before taking on the bulldog tanks. If needed, fight from the water, which keeps your Mech cool, giving you more shots with your laser weaponry.

Approach Op. Baker and destroy the east facilities in the same fashion you eliminated the west structures. Once Op. Baker has been cleared, head for Op. Charlie. You'll notice two missile emplacements to the north of Op. Charlie. Destroy these from long range; then, call your Mobile Field Base to rendezvous with your Mech at Op Charlie. Once the MFBs arrive, the mission ends successfully.
