Briefing: Captain Nicholls, we want you to take your Blackhawk to pick up a group of soldiers who've landed at one of NATO's makeshift harbors (located at grid location Ej24) and ferry them to the front line (located at grid location Dh45) at Montignac. If you run into difficulties, you are of course armed with rockets, but your best course would be to steer clear of the action and concentrate on getting home in one piece. Takeoff is at 10:30 from your chopper base (located at grid location Di08).

Objectives: Your passengers will be waiting for you at their debarkation point (located at grid location Ej24). Ferry them to their position at Montignac (located at grid location Dh45). Return to the base (located at grid location Di08).

Your first helicopter mission is basically a training mission to instruct you on the ins and outs of being a chopper pilot. You are ordered to ferry some infantry from the harbor to the front lines. Move to the chopper and board the UH-60 as a pilot. Follow the instructions, ascend, and fly the helicopter to the pickup point (grid reference Ej24).

Follow the training instructions closely so you're well prepared for later missions.

Land at the debarkation point. The easiest way is to turn on the chopper's auto-hover using the action menu and then descend adjacent to the soldiers. The troops automatically board the chopper once you successfully land next to their position. You're now ordered to unload the infantry squad.

Ascend and fly to the front line near Montignac (grid reference Dh45). When you reach the designated area, auto-hover and land once again. The soldiers automatically disembark. Return to base (grid reference Di08) and land to complete the mission.

Air Superiority--Everon, Near the Airport

Briefing: Captain Nicholls, we need pilots to fly our helicopter gunships. You've proved yourself in the Blackhawk, so let's see how you get on at the controls of a Cobra. Your target is a convoy that's about to set off from Morton to supply the Soviet force. You begin in your jeep near a NATO-held air base (located at grid location Di14) in the north of Everon.

Objectives: Find your new commander ASAP. He'll be waiting on the helipad (located at grid location Eb22). Your gunner will give you directions. Fly through Montignac (located at grid location Di45) and across enemy lines. Destroy the convoy, which is about to set off from Morton (located at grid location Dj68) to Le Moule (located at grid location Ca57). Once the convoy is out of action, the Soviet heavy armor in Le Moule will be weakened and vulnerable. Attack it. Return to the base (located at grid location Ec22) and land.

You must first locate your new commander. You're inside a jeep, and the passenger, your chopper gunner, will provide sufficient directions to reach the helipad where your new commander stands. If you'd rather just maneuver to the base using the overhead map, you'll find the helipad and the commander at grid reference Eb22.

When you reach the helipad, get out of the jeep and approach the commander, Major Bayliss (or just drive the jeep up to the commander). He orders you inside the Cobra. Get into the Cobra as the pilot and order your gunner inside.

Listen to the commands from your mission leader and attack targets accordingly.

The rest of the mission can go a variety of ways; just follow the instructions of your wingmen and blast the targets assigned to you. You can either select manual fire, so you can launch missiles or fire the machine gun at designated targets, or you can turn manual fire off and let your gunner automatically fire at targets within range. An enemy Shilka possesses antiair ability; take it down on sight with a TOW, though it's unlikely it will pose much of a problem.

When you're ordered to return to base, do so. Land the Cobra at the helipad; exit the chopper and approach the base to conclude the mission.

Recon--Kolgujev, Near the Coast

Briefing: Commander Gastovski, in this secret mission on Kolgujev, we need you to find and write down exact positions of three antiaircraft systems. The mission will commence immediately after you disembark the ship on the coast at Dc77.

Objectives: Find the first, second, and third Shilkas. Make your way unseen to the evac point at Ea78 and radio for the launch to pick you up.

You're on a brief break from the vehicle-based missions for a short stint in a Black Ops suit--it's time to recon some Soviet antiaircraft systems, otherwise known as Shilkas, which will be addressed again in a future mission. For this mission, however, you must simply locate the three Shilkas. As soon as you reach the position, the location of the Shilka will be marked on your overhead map, and you're free to search for the next one.

Enter the appropriate grid coordinate to locate a Shilka.

You could search haphazardly for the three Shilkas or simply maneuver to the following grid coordinates:
