Aim For The Heart
Destroy Landing Pad
Droids...why'd it have to be droids? Regardless of your existential dilemmas, you're going to have to penetrate through quite a number of mechanical menaces to reach your ultimate goal: a pair of landing pads that the Separatists are using to resupply the Trandoshans.
To begin with, walk down the hallway here a little bit and jump up and down to catch view of a turret nearby. Luckily, these Trandos are awfully fond of their explosives, so you'll be able to shoot the barrel next to the turret to de-man it, allowing you to commandeer it with one of your soldiers. The rest of this little area is custom-designed to let you withstand the upcoming counterattack; if you place charges and proximity mines on the barrels and crates near the gap in the wall, you'll be able to detonate them when the droidekas appear. Another charge on the detritus near the bacta dispensers will net you some anti-armor rounds, which will be handy to use against the four SBDs that follow hard upon the droidekas.
After the SBD's are taken care of, move up and destroy the crates nearby to grab your first Wookiee Rocket Launcher. This homing rocket launcher is going to be essentially a supplementary anti-armor device; it can home onto anything (simply hold down the button while aiming at your target to lock on, then release to fire), but it's best saved for large concentrations of enemies or exceptionally armored targets.
Speaking of, there's going to be a droid dispenser to worry about around the corner from the rocket launcher pick-up. It's a relatively easy matter to command one of your troopers to place a charge on it, but you'll need to give him plenty of cover, since there'll be plenty of scav droids coming in to cause problems. If you stand back well away from the dispenser and command the rest of your squad to hold position near the guy placing the charge, then the scavs should target them instead of you, allowing you to zoom in with your blaster rifle and harry them from a distance. There are going to be a lot of them, so concentrate on getting the dispenser blown before letting your soldiers start taking them down. They're going to be plenty hurt by the end of this little escapade, so blow the crates on the left side of the area to reveal a bacta dispenser.
After blowing the crate that blocks your passage up the ramp, you'll come to a minefield. The controls that will disable the mines are behind the forcefield here, so you'll need to blast it open, kill the droid controller, then slice the console so that the mines activate when the droidekas roll on top of them, rather than when you attempt to move on.
Around the corner from the minefield is the first landing pad. In order to take it out, it's best to walk forward a bit to trigger the appearance of the Trandos, clear as many of them out as possible, then instruct your entire team to get to the area of the charge, with one of them instructed to plant it. If you stand underneath the plank above the charge area, you'll be able to kill the rappelling Trandos as they hit the ground with your melee strikes. When the charge is set, blow it and move around the landing pad to find the base's lower level.

It's time to put these Trandoshans out of business once and for all. There's still the matter of all the other Trandoshans on the planet, but for now, we'll worry about these guys.
At the outset of the level, you'll have four Trandos coming at you from over the barricade, so take them out before planting the charge. When it's set, kill any remaining Trandos before healing up and moving towards the far set of crates; they'll blow automatically, revealing a pair of SBD's in the hollow beyond. If you have any EC grenades, use them on the SBD's, as you'll be picking up another box of them shortly.
Near the SBD's, you'll find a grenadier position, but before you send someone running down there, edge your way down the ramp and snipe out the Trando manning the turret off to the left. When that's done, set your guys up in the grenadier spot, the snipe spot, and the turret; they'll start blasting away at the flood of battle droids that'll be coming your way.
Before you move on, be sure that you have a full load of EC grenades; there's a box of them near the bacta dispenser here. When you move on a bit, you'll come to another barricade; unfortunately, an SBD dispenser will drop in front of it, and you don't have any anti-armor positions or turrets to deal with these guys. Luckily enough, though, there's a crate swinging to and fro directly above it; if you wait until it swings out over the dispenser itself, then shoot the winch that's holding it up, it'll land on the dispenser and destroy it immediately. Pretty handy!
After the next group of Trandos has been eliminated, breach the door they're guarding to encounter a rather nasty surprise, in the form of a spider droid guarding the last landing pad you have to destroy. Unfortunately, there's again no anti-armor or even a snipe position with which to take it out; all you have is a console to slice. When it's fully sliced, though, a crane will drop a crate atop the droid, taking it out once and for all.
