Warlocks
Warlocks will appear as both friends and foes in the solo levels. The allies of the Deceiver will defend their master until you win him to your side.

Though not particularly quick and easily killed, Warlocks possess two devastating attacks. Their primary attack is a fireball that tracks its target and can even follow the contours of the terrain. The spell erupts in a devastating explosion on contact, typically killing the target and anything around it. The spell has a similar range to the Fetch's lightning attack; it doesn't reach as far as Bowmen arrows or Soulless spears. The main defense against this attack is to hide behind steep landscape features or keep a chasm between yourself and the Warlock. The ball will dive into the chasm and explode harmlessly at the bottom. Fireball attacks, however, consume mana and take time to develop, leaving the Warlock open to attack while attempting to cast this otherwise blistering attack.

character shot The Warlocks' secondary attack is a long-range Confusion Spell, launched by pressing the Special Attack Key (T by default) and targeting an enemy unit. The spell will effect not just the target, but every unit in the surrounding area. Confused units will lose all sense of purpose and wander aimlessly for a time; obviously, this leaves the poor victims vulnerable to an indefensible attack. This spell does, of course, consume mana, and the caster will have to recharge before launching it again. The effect lasts a rather long time, but it does wear off after awhile.

In multiplayer, the Warlock replaces his Confusion Spell with a Ring of Fire Spell that scorches any units who dare venture close to him. That includes any friendly units nearby, so use the Ring of Fire with caution.

Warlocks are not the fastest boats in the fleet and, as said, are slow to attack. Still, their range and destructive power are truly extraordinary, making them dangerous foes and powerful allies.

Wolves
character shot Wolves are very quick with their savage attacks, but they shouldn't be too much trouble to a capable player like you. These dogs of war don't withstand too much damage, so showering them with arrows is your best bet. Be careful if they get too close to your Bowmen, however, because their speed will make them a major nuisance. Attack them with multiple melee units, and you'll find their bark far worse than their bite.
