Briefing: The Russians are planning to kill a group of civilians--and it's your job to stop them. You're temporarily a member of the guerilla force code-named White Wolf, which lies in wait near this forest (located at grid location Fi61).

Objectives: Use your binoculars to locate as many guards as you can in the village (located at grid location Fj62). After the Black Bear (located at grid location Gc63) force has neutralized the tank, assault the village with the rest of White Wolf. Don't let the hostages be harmed. Load the hostages on to the truck and rendezvous with the other group (located at Gf66). Black Bear will cover you. Your task is to save the civilians. It's essential they survive.

You've been rescued by the Everon Freedom Alliance. But you're now in their debt and must complete a mission for them. As soon as the mission starts, switch to your binoculars. Scan the village ahead and pinpoint the location of enemy soldiers. You'll spot a trio near the hostages on the left and another in the woods on the right. A UAZ approaches during the scan, and another soldier emerges from the vehicle. Right-click on the enemy soldiers to reveal their location to the resistance leader.

Use your binoculars to ascertain enemy soldier positions.

Don't fire on the soldiers until Black Wolf neutralizes the tank. As soon as Black Wolf acknowledges the destruction of the tank, take cover and start firing on the soldiers guarding the village and hostages. Approach the hostage camp carefully. Watch out for the enemy soldier hanging around in the forest to the right of the village. Clear the enemy camp (you're provided verbal confirmation once all enemies have been killed).

The hostages and fellow resistance soldiers board the Ural truck in the front of the camp. During the process, a second Ural filled with enemy troops arrives along the road behind the first truck. Remain at the crest of the hill and eliminate the Russian soldiers as they emerge from the truck. Board the original Ural,which proceeds to Gc67.

TIP: After fending off the enemy Ural and its occupants, search the grounds for additional clips or weaponry. For instance, the Russian machine gunners carry PKs, which are powerful machine guns that should prove quite useful in the second stage of the mission.

Beware of enemy flanking maneuvers, such as this Ural truck sneaking up on your group.

As you near the resistance camp, you're ordered to disembark. Get into the trees to the left of the road. Start heading west to the area marked "Meeting Point" on the map; it's at Gf66. A Ural unloading Russian soldiers and perhaps an enemy BMP appear behind you. Continue quickly up the hill and rendezvous with the Black Wolf group. They'll help tackle the BMP and pursuing Russian soldiers. Cross over the hill and into the meeting point (a resistance camp) to complete the level.

Undercover--A Small Resistance Camp in the Everon Hills

Briefing: You'll be heading straight through enemy lines in a truck, dressed as a civilian. You're starting out with a group of guerilla fighters at their camp (located at grid location Gi69) in the woods.

Objectives: Get into the truck and drive it to the checkpoint at this crossroads (located at grid location Gg72). Remember to try to be inconspicuous. Calmly drive on through the checkpoint to Vernon (located at grid location Ha81) and through the Soviet base in Saint Pierre (located at grid location Hf87). Find the resistance leader in the castle ruins (located at grid location Hd92).

Proceed to 12 o'clock toward the trees and the truck. Climb into the PV3S Civil as the driver. Wait for the resistance soldiers to board the truck. Drive along the dirt road toward the "move" indicator. You'll spot the main road up ahead; it's a T-intersection leading to the left and right. A cutscene interrupts the action. Slava bribes the Russian guards with some vodka, and you're free to pass.

You're under cover and somewhat vulnerable. Let Slava do the talking at the first Russian checkpoint.

You automatically turn left on the main road. Continue along the road toward Hb82, the checkpoint at Vernon. The second checkpoint doesn't proceed as smoothly as the first. Your cover has been blown, and the trio of Russian guards at the checkpoint attacks you. Get out of the truck and nail the guards. Grab their weaponry if you wish.

Objective: Leave the truck and continue on foot behind the forest (located at grid location Gh86).

Disembark from the truck and nail the guards. Grab their weaponry if you wish. Follow the mission leader toward the forest. You have plenty of cover inside the forest, which should prove useful against the remaining Russian patrols. Stay behind your fellow soldiers; they should handle most of the Russian patrols. If you'd rather, stay on the point and use the overhead map to spot any nearby Russians. You may face an additional patrol on the other side of the woods.

Make your way to the castle ruins to complete the mission.

Follow to the point behind the woods (marked on the overhead map) and proceed south to the castle ruins. You should be free of Russian interference by this point. Make your way into the castle ruins for a mission plan update.

Objective: Meet the commander on the castle tower.

You're told to meet with the resistance commander after entering the castle tower. Locate the ramp up the tower on the right side (from the camp). Ascend the ladders within the tower to the upper level. Approach the resistance commander to conclude the mission.
