Issues (or 'missions'), are pretty much straight forward -- with the objectives usually highlighted by red arrows telling you where to move your heroes to. The problem comes with not just the point of view the game offers, but the numerous other details that you can gain or lose prestige on. Since the camera is movable, I cannot give you straight on directions (up, down, left, right) but will rather use landmarks or other terrain features to indicate where certain things are.

I will also mention where cannisters are; well certain cannisters. Purple Energy-X cannisters are usually out in the open and yield only temporary effects for your team. They are also common enough that you should grab one with the appropriate hero (the one who needs to do all the current blasting) and be done with it. To that effect, I will only point out where the other three types of cannisters are since you'll be feeling its effects more after the mission is over. The health cannisters are of course valuable if you're looking to fight the bosses with your Heroic Remedies intact. Lastly, I did employ the in-game multi-cannister grab. It's not a cheat, it's just game raping.

Don't forget that irregardless of what the game looks like, you are still playing an objective based game. So focus on completing objectives rather than just plain fighting hordes and hordes of henchmen. Some objectives can be viewed immediately when you start a mission, while others will be added as you make progress. Secondary objectives are not crucial to your success (but completing them will add more prestige); primary objectives are crucial and should not be failed unless you don't want a life outside of eating junk food and playing video games. I'm told women exist for real in bars and clubs across the world, and not just in the comics. Sure, mebbe they don't have gravity defying breasts, but that's what plastic surgery and soybean implants are for.
