A Client is any UT2004 machine that connects to a UT2004 Game Server, whether locally or remotely based. A Client can be a Spectator or Player. In single player offline modes, there is only one Client - the machine running the offline game.
The purpose of MapMixer is to administer the game server but it also adds some functionality to individual clients that connect to it. A machine that connects to a MapMixer administered server, automatically becomes a MapMixer Client and has these extended features available to them.
Each MapMixer Client has a Client Config Menu available to them. If a MapMixer Client is also logged on as a standard UT2004 Game Administrator then they also have a MapMixer Administrator Menu available. MapMixer Clients also have an extended Client HUD that shows some extra game information and MapMixer information.
MapMixer Clients also have a few audio features available to them in certain game types, such as Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, where they receive audible notification when they (or their team) obtains equal leader ranking, loose equal leader ranking or become match leader.
