8. Pull your Dwarves back and await the arrival of the next group of Mauls. Detonate the trap as the Mauls pass. MAP 9. At this point, you will receive new units. MAP 10. Ready your Dwarves for two more groups of Thrall; should be no problem in this narrow pass. MAP 11. March your troops to the west to meet the reinforcements (select all of your troops and click on the ground near the reinforcements). Your Bowmen will probably have to deal with some Soulless patrolling the passageway, but this should be no problem with the fire-and-retreat move. MAP 12. Incorporate the new units into your pre-sets and set up again behind the new Satchel Charge ambush point (Bowmen and Dwarves on the hills surrounding the pass). This time, the Mauls come in two waves. Snare the first group in the first set of charges and the second in the one further back in the pass. MAP 13. Again, you will receive new units at the far western side of the map. MAP 14. First, deal with the bunch of Thrall lumbering up the pass. Two Dwarves, no waiting. Be ready, because one more gang will be approaching from the pass northeast of your current position. MAP 15. Join up with your new units and incorporate them into your pre-sets. MAP 16. Set up as far to the east in this valley as possible, just south of the westernmost Satchel Charge trap. Use one trap to nail the first group of Mauls. MAP 17. The second group approaches from the westernmost trap. You know the drill. MAP 18. Pull your troops behind one of the remaining ambush points and send a Berserk out to guide the next group of Mauls to your chosen ambush. When he's clear of danger and the Mauls are in the trap, let 'er rip. MAP 19. With that, your Journeyman will unearth the scepter and your mission will be complete. MAP |
