Your Units Mortar Dwarves Trow Enemy Units Myrkridia Fetches Ghôls Goal Punch a hole in the wall with your Mortar Dwarves and eliminate the forces guarding the city. Walk-through 1. To begin this mission, you must guide your force mostly unscathed into firing distance to the wall. You can take any course you like to the end, but be sure to take refuge behind the wall fragments littering the desert. It's a slow process, but you will lose soldiers if you try to barrel straight through. MAP 2. Preserve your units very carefully. Your mission fails if you lose your Dwarves. You can lose your Trow and still complete the level, but you'd have to be both very lucky and very good. 3. Begin moving eastward, hiding behind the largest walls. As you move across, several squads of Myrkridia will attack you. Try to soften them up from a distance with your Mortar Dwarves and finish them with the Trow. MAP
5. Feint toward the wall with your Trow until the Myrkridia and Fetches waiting by the wall give chase. Pepper these pursuers with your Mortar Dwarves and sweep out the garbage with the Trow. MAP 6. Once these attacks stop coming, move your Mortar Dwarves into position to fire at the wall. Just for fun, take out the cannon firing Ghôls on the high towers with a well-placed mortar shot. Move up close to the wall so the remaining cannons cannot target you. MAP 7. Target the notched parts of the wall (they are weaker than other parts). Once you make a hole, feint toward the gap to bring out the Ghôls, Myrkridia, Fetches, and a Shade. MAP 8. Lob mortar shells into the gap as the enemy troops emerge. Take special care with the Shade. If he can unleash his Dispersal Dream, you could be in for a world of hurt. Stay close to his fellow troops and rush him so he won't be able to get you before you kick the stuffing out of him. MAP 9. Once all the enemy troops are exterminated, more Dwarves parachute in and your mission is accomplished. MAP Next, Level XVI: The Ibis Crown |
