6. Move carefully and slowly either northeast or northwest across the map, moving hill to hill. Set up a defense on each consecutive hill and keep your eyes peeled for enemies on the march. MAP

7. As you advance north, you will eventually come to a sheer hill face. Turn toward the town and continue your hill-to-hill movement until you can see the edges of the town. MAP

8. Use your Bowmen to pick off the Fetches and Soulless guarding the square. If you haven't used one of Alric's Dreams yet, this might be as good a time as any if you are feeling overwhelmed. Simply press the Special Attack Key and click on an enemy unit; it and every other unit nearby will erupt and expire. Take a moment to search the town for dropped healing roots. MAP

9. Climb through the opening to the north and fend off any opposition guarding this gateway. MAP

10. As you enter the pass, a large group of Myrkridia will come racing to meet you. Use another of Alric's Dreams to put these dogs to sleep. MAP

Boom, Boom, Boom. The Dispersal Dream makes short work of large packs of Myrkridia. Be sure to save one for the sailors aboard the boat.
11. As you round the first bend, you will see a sizable force on the ship. Lure them off the deck and kill them in the narrow confines of the pass. There are two ways to do this. (1) Lay a Satchel Charge trap on the foot of the pass and use a Warrior to lure the Guards to their doom. Or, (2) you could just let Alric take care of them with a Dream (if you have one left). The latter is easier, but you should know there is still a way to get out of here if you spent all of your Dreams. MAP

12. Board the boat with all of your troops and the mission ends. MAP
