Trow
character shot The enemy of my enemy is my friend: This ancient rule is the basis for your alliance of convenience with these gigantic creatures, formerly allies of the Dark in the Great War. If you can win them to your side, their immense power will be yours … until you are no longer of use to them.

Trow are exceedingly quick and can pulverize most smaller opposing units with one swift kick. Their punches, only necessary with units of their own size, are weaker, but they are still brutally effective. Send your Trow into small groups of opposing units, especially if these enemies are approaching in a straight line rather than from numerous sides, and let the Trow kick away.

These not-so-gentle giants are very resilient to attack, but they have one major weakness. If a Trow is damaged to a certain degree (about 4/5 of his full health) he will turn to stone and become a sitting duck for any enemy unit. Keep a very close eye on the health of your Trow and heal them often during any break in the action; it's a rare moment when you can spare a Trow. Once a Trow has turned to stone, he is beyond healing.

Trow are extremely vulnerable if your enemy sends a large group of small, fast units with quick attacks (ideally, Myrkridia or Berserks) to surround them. Your Trow will likely take out many of the opposition, but you will lose him in the process - a good trade for your opponent.

Note that Trow can cross even the deepest water, and their speed and resilience make them ideal to rush a troublesome Fetch, but only if the Trow begins his attack at full health.
