While only playable sequentially, the human campaign in Starsiege is divided into three discernible segments as the story unfolds.

The first segment is centered around the Mars resistance forces battling against the Imperial police. The second segment begins with the involvement of the tough Imperial knights and the arrival of the cybrids. The third and last segment deals with a short stint on Titan and the secret attack on Pluto.

Mars Resistance

Mission #1: Vulture Duty
This one is pretty easy. Follow the nav route to the cargo ship, which is guarded by an unshielded basilisk. Take out the basilisk and then the cargo ship, but beware of the laser-toting talon that shows up right after the cargo ship blows. Destroy the talon, then run back to the access tunnel.

Soon enough, three minotaurs will come looking for you, so it won't be wise to sit around and wait for them. You can try to take them all out - good luck in succeeding. Instead, you can lure them back to your two friends waiting at the access tunnel, and the odds will be more even.
