Mission Four: Escort

Objectives:

  • Reactivate the Alchemitor
No base building here - the first priority (besides the objective listed above) is keeping the hauler that lugs the power crystal safe and intact.

You'll be attacked right away by an ISDF scout - kill it quickly. Now have the others follow you, but be mindful of the slow speed of the hauler. You'll be assaulted by various types of ISDF units at different intervals as you approach the Alchemitor. Take out the heavier tanks first (especially rocket tanks) before bothering with the lighter ones.

Two Scion scouts will appear and try to lure you to a shortcut. Kill them - they are trying to trick you. Afterward you'll be faced with tougher waves of ISDF tanks, but if you and your escorts remain healed, the tanks shouldn't be too much of a worry.

Soon you'll come upon the Alchemitor. Order the hauler to the machine and the mission is over.

Mission Five: An Unlikely Rescue

Objectives:

  • Establish a base
  • Cripple the New Regime outpost
  • Locate the AAN base
  • Defend the AAN base from the New Regime
As a typical start to a Scion mission, when you have a recycler, build up your base, establish scavengers at two scrap pools, and start building up your base defenses with guardians. ISDF attacks will start coming in soon from the north. There's not a lot of time for subtle defensive preparations - just crank out a half-dozen guardians, make sure the scavengers are deployed and then start building some heavier, more armored Scion vehicles. A large ISDF attack will soon come roaring in, much bigger than the previous ones.

When the attack is defeated, Shabayev will want you to take out the bridge leading to the Scion base. Bring some help, as the bridge is guarded by three ISDF tanks - then take out the bridge when the ISDF guys are dead.

Defend the AAN base from ISDF attacks - they'll throw a lot at you.
Next you'll have to rush over to the AAN base and defend it from ISDF attacks. Bring a builder with you. Shabayev wants you to build a gun spire near where the attacks are coming from. You can also build up your Bio-metal base by deploying some scavengers on some nearby scrap pools, though there is no guarantee the ISDF attackers won't go after the scavengers instead (though it would make a nifty diversion).

The ISDF attacks will be tough, as they will come in with the heavy artillery. Once the major attacks are defeated, the mission will then end.
