Notes: The person who "completes" an objective is awarded the points. Ex: the person who blasts the last bit of the third layer of a wall, causing it to "break through" gets the points for that objective. Likewise the person who returns the last Droid part gets the credit for that objective. Some objectives may grant points to the entire team (these will be noted as they are verified).

A lot of objects can be destroyed, but garner no extra points. On Destroyer, ALL enemy ships killed garner points (1 each) regardless whether or not there is a pilot inside. Ships and ships with pilots are each counted as 1 point, except for Y-Wings/X-Wings which are worth 2 (1 point is earned by an enemy who destroys the droid).

Self kills in Siege happen a lot, however they are not necessarily treated as self kills if they result simply from switching class or switching team. Typing \kill in the console definately counts as one, as does accidentally or purposefully destroying yourself with explosives. Killing teammates is usually very difficult unless friendly fire (team damage) is turned on by the server. Servers of course generally have penalties for flagrant or repeated team killers.

Remember, points in Siege are not the key to winning (though they can reflect a player's progress) and will tend to favor the attacking team since objectives are worth so much.

The key, rather is using teamwork to complete objectives. The attacking team must complete their objectives in as short a time as possible for the first round. For the second, as defense they must hold out until time runs out to win. Of course the opposing team will do everything they can to prevent their opponent's from succeeding, and attempt to beat the attackers first time by at least one second.
