    Lord Bafford's Manor
    The main objective of the first mission is to break into Lord Bafford's Manor and steal Bafford's scepter as well as a few other items to increase your cash flow. You'll start at the area just north of the front entrance on the game map. Move around the front entrance and pick up the marked cache of arrows, then make your way east towards the sewer covers. The general idea is to use the local well to get into the manor, but a guard keeps the key to the well.

    You can try the frontal approach and quickly kill the drunken guard (you will encounter another patrolling guard who can easily be knocked out), or sneak up behind the guard and steal the key from the sewer holes that are distributed along the street. After obtaining the key, use it to open the door and drop down into the well. Follow the path until you come upon an area on the right you can climb up on. This area leads to a basement storeroom with a few barrels as well as a small window and doorway nearby.

    Tip: Another way into the manor is the front door, right through three armed guards. Good luck taking them all out.

    The small window in the storeroom allows you to observe a guard passing after a short conversation. If the guard is moving to the right, he is walking down the corridor, away from the doorway. Sneak into the corridor and move down the first hallway into another storage area arranged as a block of four rooms. A guard stands alert at the other end, watching over a hallway leading to first floor. You can do a number of things to get by the guard: kill him, distract him with noise and sneak by, or distract him with noise and knock him out. Go up the stairwell.
