The only way to get the Eye out of the Hammerite cathedral is to retrieve the four elemental talismans, two of which, fire and water, are being kept in the Lost City, another city that was destroyed by a disaster long ago. If you don't feel like taking some damage right away, bring along a breath potion and buy as many water arrows as possible. Jump in the water and use the stone key on the door. Surface for air, then head down the submerged tunnel. You will run out of breath, so use the potion when your air is almost gone. You'll need to swim down and around a large barrier, and then down and to the right. Afterward you can reach the surface, but the current is swift. Stay on the right-hand side and you may be able to grab onto the ledge before you wind up in the waterfall. If you do climb up the ledge, you'll need to jump back across the water to the ledge on the other side. If you wind up in the pool underneath the waterfall, you'll need to climb up a series of cliffs to that very same ledge. Once on the ledge, you can drop down to a series of rock outcroppings, then walk down a corridor and you'll wind up at a junction. Go left - fire periodically blows in from either side of the corridor, so time your approach accordingly. After some twists and turns you'll wind up on the roof of a building overlooking a lake of lava. You'll want to go to the chamber beyond; there are two ways of getting there - you can drop off the top of the building (make sure you don't go into the lava) or you can drop through the hole in the roof and explore the building a bit, where some goodies are kept. The area is teeming with burricks, though. Tip: Fire elementals are abundant in this level. They carry a nasty fireball-type attack and can only be destroyed by using a carefully aimed water arrow.
