Deploy the recycler and build a couple of scavengers, but be ready to defend them against an almost immediate Soviet attack. Next, build an armory and upgrade your tank to SP-Stabbers, then build a constructor and have it manufacture an S-power and a gun tower in a forward position between you and the Soviet base, about 100 meters or so beyond the range of the Soviet gun towers. That way the gun towers will bring down the horde of Soviet scavengers picking up scrap in plain sight of your base. While all this is going on, you'll have to zip around to protect your scavengers. But if you've made it this far in the game that should pose no problem.

Furies like to target scavengers, factories, and other vital units. Try to keep an escort accompanying each scavenger to keep them working for you as long as possible.

Build a factory and have it produce an APC to begin the rescue operations. Don't send the APC to all three rescue points, one after the other. Instead, wait five or ten minutes between rescues so that you can build the weapons you'll need to deal with the Furies that will be headed your way.

Now build a couple howitzers and send them to the western side of the mountain ridge where the Soviet base is located and open fire on the L-power plant to neutralize the Soviet gun towers. These howitzers will serve another purpose: They'll open fire on the Furies when they attack the Soviet base. There is one drawback to this approach, however: If a Fury attacks your base (and they're sure to do that), the howitzers will start dropping shells near friendlies.

Furies can be destroyed with AT-Stabbers and miniguns, but they are downed much more quickly if you use SP-Stabbers.

Eventually, your scavengers will start roaming into areas where the Furies are located. About the only thing you can do is build tanks to escort them. But a tank that hasn't been upgraded isn't much of a match for a Fury. Bombers are much better, but if you don't have enough scrap to build a hefty line of defense for your base, you should probably use the heavy ships to protect your recycler and factory.

When you launch the second rescue (or just a little before it), the first Fury will appear, but you'll get a warning. Be sure to keep your hull as strong as possible, because the Furies will be coming fast and furious very shortly.

By the time you're ordered to rescue the Soviets, you should have at least three or four bombers to escort the APC to the CCA base. Go along with them to make sure the APC gets back safely.

This mission can last quite a while, and chances are you won't succeed the first couple of times out. Just remember to keep your eyes on the radar and produce as many high-powered offensive weapons as possible.
