Here it is - the complete guide to crushing the CCA threat and defeating the Furies. Remember to save your game after accomplishing a goal that has taken you several attempts. And good luck in all your battles!

Red Arrival
This is a very basic mission, but there are still a couple of things you can do to make the going a little smoother. First, don't use a bomber - you don't need that much firepower, and it's the hardest ship to control. Second, pick up the Pop Gun Mortar and Rave Gun lying around the base - the Pop Gun Mortar automatically targets enemies and the Rave Gun must be seen to be believed! (Note: Be careful with the Rave Gun, though, because it can do damage to your own ship if its projectile hits the terrain close to you.) If you prefer to use standard guns to prepare for the battles ahead and wind up out of ammo, start ramming the Soviet fighters until the scavenger makes it back to base.

Choose a tank or light tank for this mission - both are much more maneuverable than a bomber and pack more firepower than a scout.

Eagle's Nest 1
This is surprisingly tough for just the second mission in the game. The Soviets will launch an attack on your command center from the southeast as soon as the mission begins, so head there immediately and take out at least one fighter - the other will flee. Order your recycler to a geyser and start building turrets to deploy around the solar array and the command center, then park between the hangar and the supply depot to stock up on ammo and effect repairs. Be sure to put at least four turrets around each facility as you keep an eye on the strategic map for signs of incoming Soviets.

The Russkies will be focusing on the command center, so be ready to assist the turrets as needed - and always be ready to deal with Soviet pilots who have ejected and are attacking on foot, especially after destroying the APC attacking the base.

Head to this location and park between the supply depot and hangar to receive repairs and ammo during lulls in the fighting.

Once you receive the message to move to the solar array, get ready to defend it with all you've got. If you take damage, swing by the hangar and supply depot for repairs and ammo. When you get the word to move out to the launch pad, get in front of the transports and be especially alert for Soviet turrets trying to bring them down. If you run out of ammo, you can ram fighters and tanks to keep them from getting off clean shots at the transports.
