There's nothing you can do to stop Transport 3 from turning traitor and taking one of the relics to the Russians, so don't even try. Instead, assign a tank and a light tank to escort Transport 1 and a tank to escort Transport 2. Allow them to proceed to the first waypoint while you go to the armory north of the drop zone and grab a couple of SP-Stabbers. If you hurry, you'll rejoin the convoy before Transport 3 breaks away.

Several fighters will attack to create a diversion while Transport 3 makes its escape, but the escorts will chop them to ribbons quickly.
 
When this fighter attacks your convoy just before you reach Nav 2, get ready for a Soviet walker lurking on the other side of the ridge.
When you reach Nav 2, however, you'll run into a walker parked behind a rise (a fighter will emerge from that rise to tangle with you as well). Don't get within 200 meters of it until you're ready to do battle. The best approach is to try to get shots off at the top of the walker while remaining partially hidden behind the rise. But you can also try approaching him from the rear (from the direction of the armory) and use a circling attack.

 
It's tricky, but if you can manage to get off shots at the walker from behind the ridge, it's possible to take him down with no damage to yourself.

As you continue to the launch pad, you'll encounter a turret before discovering that the base is under attack. It is possible to get to the base before the attack starts and save the launch pad, but if you do you might not be able to finish the mission. In short, the launch pad must be destroyed for you to continue. The location of a second launch pad will be relayed to the transports, and they'll head for it as soon as they get the word. Stick tight with them - the Soviets will start attacking almost before you can leave the smoking ruins of the first launch pad. Escort them to the second launch pad, and the mission ends.
