The bulgasari moves up to its speed on the ground in a straight line. Creatures in the way of this line must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 20 (3d12) piercing damage on a failed save, or half on a success. Either way, affected creatures are pushed outside of its path. Alternatively, a creature can make a DC 15 Strength saving throw, taking half damage and granting advantage on the next saving throw against the charge on a success.

When a bulgasari feels cornered, it exhales scalding steam from its trunk in a wild circle around its body. Each creature within 10 feet of it must make a DC 11 Dexterity saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) fire damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one. The area becomes heavily obscured for 1 minute or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
