A cloud of spores and a trail of feathers surrounds this twisted cross between a man and a gigantic vulture.
Vrocks are dull-witted, capricious fiends that live only to create pain and carnage. A vrock resembles a giant hybrid of humanoid and vulture, its gnarled, bestial body and broad wings stinking of offal.
Vrocks gobble humanoid flesh whenever they can, stunning potential prey with an ear-splitting shriek, then swooping down to attack with beak and claw. Vrocks can shake their wings, releasing clouds of toxic spores.
Coveting pretty things, vrocks turn against each other for the chance to lay claim to cheap jewelry or ornamental stones. Despite their love of treasure, vrocks are difficult to bribe, seeing no reason to bargain when they can simply take what they want from a would-be bargainer's corpse.
Vrock
Demon of Carnage and Ruin
Screeching, vulturelike demons, vrocks soar from the Abyss to spread ruin and slaughter. Their filthy feathers carry magical toxins from the Lower Planes, creating a noxious cloud capable of killing those who escape the vrocks' vicious beaks and claws. To further terrorize their foes, vrocks unleash an otherworldly screech so terrible it can halt creatures in their tracks.
Warrior demon resembling a blend of the ugliest features of a man, a vulture, and a bat
A Vrock is the warrior of the infernals. It comes in many horrible forms, but the most common one resembles a blend of the ugliest features of a man, a vulture, and a bat. A vrock can attack with all five of its attacks while in flight, but cannot use its talons on the ground.
Hideous cross between a vulture and a humanoid, considered one of the weakest of demonkind
Vrock, considered one of the weakest of demonkind, look like a hideous cross between a vulture and a humanoid. They are no stronger than normal and may be harmed with normal melee and missile weapons. Like all demons they can cause darkness, but only in a 5-ft radius. They also possess the following special abilities which they may use at will: detect invisibility (objects only, otherwise as per the 2nd level magic user spell), gate in another vrock (10% chance of success), or telekinesis (as the 5th level magic user spell, up to 200 lbs). Vrock are particularly stupid, and cannot normally be bargained with. They love the sight of precious gems and jewellery, however, and also enjoy feasting on the flesh of men.
