Strange wolf-like creatures that can teleport at will
Blink dogs, also known as flicker beasts, are strange creatures which resemble wolves or hyenas who can teleport up to 120 feet at will. Teleportation is so easy for them that they can sometimes teleport away before being attacked; specifically, when a flicker beast know of the attacker' presence. The flicker beast is allowed a saving throw vs. Death Ray, and on a successful roll teleports 1d6 x 10 feet in a random direction (but never into solid matter, nor into any dangerous area the creature knows about).
These creatures are pack hunters, using their teleportation to confuse their prey until they are able to surround it. In this way, some members of the pack will be able to attack from behind, a trick they are so good at that they receive the same benefits as a thief: +4 to hit and double damage if the hit is successful.
Blink dogs are large canines, typically light brown in color with short bristly hair; some varieties are striped or spotted. They communicate using a language of barks, growls, and yips which is somewhat limited but can convey useful tactical information. They are shy, generally avoiding a fight if possible, but they hate deceivers and will generally attack th

Blink
In combat, teleport on roll of 12+ on 1d20. Location: 01-15 behind, 16-18
non-shielded/right flank, 19 shielded/left flank, 20 front. Negates dexterity
and shield AC bonuses when flanking. Pack flees if 25%+ losses. Will never
materialize in occupied space or solid object.
Special
Blinking
In combat a blink dog will teleport on roll of 12 or greater on a 1d20. A second roll of the 1d20 reveals where the dog reappears: 01-15 = behind, 16-18 = non-shielded or right flank, 19 = shielded or left flank, 20 = front. Blinking is a natural ability for these animals and they will never materialise in an occupied space or within a solid object.
Special
Flanking Attack
75% of the time blink behind or in flanking position of opponents, negating dexterity bonuses to AC and shield bonus to AC, if applicable.
Special
Hate coeurls
Long-standing hatred; attack on sight.
Special
Lair
If lair found, 60% chance of 3d4 pups (fight as 1 HD, 1d2 damage, likely to
flee). Captured pup makes loyal companion to good-aligned character or can be
sold for 1,500 gp (±100-600 gp).
Special
Pack Retreat
If the pack takes more than 25% losses all will simultaneously blink out and not return.
Special
Hatred of Coeurls
There is a long-standing hatred between blink dogs and coeurls and the two will attack each other on sight.

Strange wolf-like creatures that can teleport at will
Blink dogs are medium-sized dogs, dark brown with white highlights. Blink dogs
are intelligent, as smart as the average human, and communicate amongst themselves
via their high-pitched barks and low growls. Blink dogs are so-called because they
can use a limited form of teleportation, called a "blink," in a somewhat random
fashion and at random intervals.
In combat these amazing dogs use the ability to their advantage, blinking either
behind or in flanking position of their opponents (negating dexterity bonuses to
AC and shield bonus to AC, if applicable) 75% of the time. Coupled with their pack
hunting tactics, blink dogs are fearsome opponents.
